I'm Not The Only One…

I ended my post yesterday by observing that when the EPA asserts the power to regulate everything, which is what’s produced if the EPA declares CO² a public danger and imposes the Environmental Protection Act’s emissions limits on any business emitting as few as 250 tons of CO² per year, the revolution will follow quickly on its heels. Turns out I’m not alone in that assessment.

Take a listen to Charles Krauthammer, from Special Report with Bret Baier:

Krauthammer correctly quotes Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, saying “Environmentalism is the new Socialism.” They’ve been planning this for some time, but it’s going to produce a reaction that will tear the nation apart.

Review my comments from 2008 about the plan to use EPA to institute national economic planning here.

I have a question, just who is going to stop them. Who’s going to step up to the plate and do this revoluten stuff? As for me I wouldn’t even know where to start. Unfortunately I’m not a student of history, but I don’t think there has ever been a successful revolution carried out by a bunch of people who stood around patting each other on the back about how civil they were behaving, and how well they cleaned up after themselves.

However, I’m convinced that there are a lot of people who post on this Blog that are smarter than me, so maybe there is someone out there who can figure out how to stop these assholes.

Heh. You raise an excellent question. Not only “who”, but “how”. I think there are people who could do the job, though I’m not comfortable posting a link. My question is what comes after? Is the method basically one of insurgency, leaving the basic structure intact but removal of those whose goal is to pervert the basic structure? That might work – in fact, it’s probably the best option. Out and out revolution could be an option, but then what do you do? How do you begin again? Throw out everything after the Amendments and start lawmaking over again? There’s something to be said for that…! But who would do the job? start with all new elections?

I don’t know the answer. The best solution would be to toss the present majority in the 2010 election and reverse the laws they’ve made. Although I consider it very unlikely, I’d love it if they would investigate Obama’s natural born status, find him ineligible, and thereby nullify any action that required his signature. As I said – unlikely…just a bit of wishful thinking. I do believe he’s ineligible, but we don’t seem to have a mechanism in place to make that determination or to do anything about it, given that those who support him are in power in the only place that actually _does_ have the ability to do something about it, and they have no intention of doing anything about it. Personally, I suspect that there are some in the Congress who would end up in prison if an honest investigation and prosecution of election fraud were to be enacted.

Well, first of all, if you live in Massachusetts as I do, you could throw your support, money, time and effort into the campaign of Scott Brown to fill the late Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat. Under normal circumstances, the Democrat candidate, Martha Coakley, would be a shoe-in. But she is a moonbat’s moonbat, even by our lofty moonbat standards. She also suffers greatly from a lack of charisma. She could cure a roomful of insomniacs with just a single stump speech. Scott’s a good man (we’ll just forget about the centerfold, this is an national emergency) a Lt Col. in the reserves, a lawyer, a state senator. I think given the circumstances if enough people get behind him, he can actually pull this off next month.

Imagine what kind of message that would send to the coup d’tait in progress in DC. A Republican senator from Massachusetts? Not since the days of Barbara Walter’s paramour, Edward Brooke, has such a thing happened.

Second, if you do not follow already, Sarah Palin is firing on all cylinders on her facebook page. She was blasting Al Gore on the subject of Climategate today to great effect. Don’t let other people tell you what to think of her intellect or political abilities – go read for yourself.

Have faith, say lots of prayers.
